itsbits computers is a well respected internet supply company based at Petrie on the northside of Brisbane in Queensland and we have been in business for over 5 years. Our holding company, Ditchlawn Pty Ltd, is registered for GST and a Australian Tax Invoice will be supplied with all sales.

Delivery
 
Item will be shipped to you from our Brisbane office via Australia Post or TNT.

Delivery times vary greatly over Australia so it is not possible to be specific. When we dispatch your item we will email you with all the details.

Items found damaged on delivery from TNT need to be noted on the delivery docket when received otherwise no claim is possible. Damage to items delivered by Australia Post needs to be immediatly notified to Australia Post, as the receiver needs to make the claim.

The Shipping & Handling fee includes packing, warehouse and distribution costs and will not reflect what is shown on the parcel.

We will ship the item to you normally the same day payment is received into our bank account howeve some bank transfers can take three days before they show up, please contact your own bank on transfer times.

We recommend all items be insured, items sent uninsured or via Express Post are sent at your risk, we will help trace any parcel lost however no replacement can be sent until insurance has be finalised

We are happy to combine postage on multiple purchases if purchased at the same time.

This unit will support 3.5" SATA/SATA2 Hard Disks up to 1024GB (1TB) and up to 10,000RPM HDD Spin speed. A Blue LED indicator on the front of the unit will advise of HDD activity so you will know exactly when the unit is being used or not, and a stand (provided) will allow this unit to be placed horizontally or vertically (as pictured). This unit has a free fall shock resistance from up to 90cm, making this unit extremely rugged and offering peace of mind for all of your precious information.

This particular unit also incorporates the newest standard for external backup, eSATA (External SATA). Unlike USB2.0 the eSATA standard is designed specifically to interface with external storage solutions. This connection standard is over 6 times faster than a USB2.0 connection and will provide 3Gbps (3000Mbps) transfer speed (as opposed to 480Mbps using USB2.0). This unit comes complete with HDD Enclosure, eSATA PCI Bracket (to create an eSATA port on desktop computers with SATA on the motherboard), eSATA eSATA Cable to connect enclosure to Computer and Power adaptor to power the external unit. This unit also has USB2.0 Port so that you can use this enclosure on other computers which only have the USB2.0 connection. (This unit will only operate at USB2.0 Speeds when using this optional port).

Terms of Sale:

- We like to receive payment within 7 days, if this is a problem please let us know

- Defective items (DOA) will be exchanged within 10 days of dispatch from our office. All items are covered by manufacturers warranty and this varies from item to item. Shipping costs back to us are the buyer's responsibility. No items can be returned without a Return Authority.

- If the replacement is not available, a refund of the purchase price will be issued via Bank Transfer only. Postage or TNT costs, insurance and handling charges are not refundable.

- We believe in dealing honestly with our customers and we expect the same.
